Even more mysterious is that the postal stamp does not help in any way, as it is not that one of the city of origin but just says "nachträglich entwertet" or something like that ("devalued afterwards").

Sometimes you can have an idea from getting to know the different styles from people we've received from, but this doesn't ring any bells to me.  Not even the initials scroll or just trying to get a pen started?
