Rainbow Vispo from John M. Bennett...and blue too!

A great package of vispo boekies and other art from John M. Bennett arrived in Greece on Tuesday

but I am finally able to blog today. One wants to take time to "read" and view the art of JMB, slowly and carefully.

Also the "pamphlets" need to have the pages sliced, or  "caressed" open, something that makes the process of reading and looking even more precious.

The package opens to a wonderful array of colors : green and orange and red...and beautiful blue, too!

Even the envelope is an bursting with BLUE bull-horned rams postage stamps!

And where I thought it said "LOV" (it arrived on Valentine's Day), I am informed by John that he meant it to be "LOX"... smoked salmon. Thanks, JMB, that's a yummy lovely thought too!

This time John included an excellent "portrait", my favorite piece.

Very expressive and dramatic...the eyes have it!

Another special item is this amazing drawing of the tree...I looove trees!

It's an "Awakening"...I see a skull...but it is a tree, too!
