It is very pretty as it is, but it is very heavy, and I'm not sure I should open it or admire it as it is.
The post mark said it was mailed from Hungry, but I do not know any Mail Artist there.  Who do you think sent it?  Should I open it more?

Could this be another Erni package that he had his Uncle in Hungry send me?

The big debate is should I destroy this lovely Mail Art just to see what is inside.

That's it! Erni knows what Dean is doing...see, even in Erni's care-package is the nylon wrap that was reused by Dean1 OK, Dean: OPEN  IT!

Marie, plus un poulet de printemps?  Donc une vieille chaussette ... like the one coming your way!

Dean, I'm noticing you put Hungry instead of Hungary--so it must be food which definately points to Erni.

inside could be one of these:

Bottle of wine

and wrapped with lots of packing papers,

so it won't break, then wrapped with even more plastic...

OR

one of these...EMPTY:

Bottle of wine

having been drunk all the time while the mail artists' gang last weekend

made and made mail art...wrapped around the EMPTY bottle are

all the left-over scraps of te care-package that  Erni sent for mail art making,

and the nylon table covering with some tape completes the "package"? Perhaps?

I didn't send it Dean and I agree with Janine that it looks like a ham!

Marie is so funny, and I'm happy it does not translate into English.  Funny enough Marie, I was just working on another sock piece, and it is now for you, but I will need to wash them before.

Janine, funny enough I though the same thing.  It does look like the ham you see hanging in the Market, but this is much smaller; 20 cm (8 inches) long.  I like your photo of the young woman with the bat.  She looks like one of Marie's photos of Japan.

Now where is Austin so that he can flip the coin to see what happens next?

No, not a ham - although it is hammy.  Perhaps the postal  workers saved up their lunch wrappers.  Instant mail artists!
