Please Enter the Bad Art Contest!!!!!

Jim Sant Amour is this month's judge for the monthly bad art contest. It will be extended as long as it takes for him to receive at least ONE entry--ideally TWO to have a fair competition. This month's theme is YARD ART. You do not need to be a member of MOBMA (museum of bad mail art) but we'd love to have you there!!!

This is some Yard Art of Elgin dubbed the "Poo Garden"

No question then, it needs to be Mobe-ma. If that came out right! Brain is retraining as we speak! You guys really get me. I'd have an AS IS tag on me at any sale, and it's also what I'd choose. :--}   Mob Ma IS a good backup as Diane says. Maybe for when the deadline is nearing or no one is stepping up to be judge and people get nervous.

I second that--NBS is perfect exactly AS IS. Plus just to piss them off, Moe b ma rhymes with MOBA which is the original Museum of Bad Art who got all huffy about my starting the group, which led to the name being changed. We can always pull out the Mob Ma when we need to

It is classier, Angie, so you have good taste.

You sweet spirit! Maybe you'll tell my husband and siblings and cats that sometime. They're not always aware.

In my head I've been saying it the second way. It happened naturally. MOBMA does go with the adjectives that describe a mob, after all, such as disorderly and unruly. I'm willing to change, though, if the mob feels differently.

Angie--you make a good point.  I usually say Moe  b Ma to rhyme with MOMA, but maybe MOB ma is more appropriate

Also a one-hit-wonder Chicago-area band

DK, the lawn jockey produced an instant outpouring of complaints in the village (near Auburn), especially since a lot of African-American college kids had to walk past it every day. Nothing could be done. The owners were elderly, had raised racehorses, and said the lawn jockey celebrated the history of horse racing and nothing more. The people died, the house was sold, the lawn jockey was removed by new owners.

That's definately bad DVS--they must have known what a firestorm that would start

This guy made this 9 feet gargoyle lawn statue that caused controversy because he had an equally large penis
