Pineapple by Dan Mouer

This beautiful photograph by Dan Mouer arrived last week here in Minnesota. With snow all round and the chill in the air, (cool indoors, too!) "Pineapple" is like a beautiful spring day. So fresh! Recuperating from surgery that keeps him off his feet (until he gets a walking cast), Dan has to limit his photography to whatever he can shoot from a limited area -- very limited. Makes it more challenging to meet the goal he has set for himself: one really good photo per week and one good art print per week from that photo. Did I get that right, Dan? He is planning to send out the prints hither and thither, I think.

I have received the second in his series -- what an honor! Even if he drew my name from a hat, wow! This print is soooo lovely. Thank you, Dan.
