Into the city today to pick up the week's mail...bills, ads...and Mail Art from South Africa. Life is GOOD!

It arrived in Greece with all those colorful fishies...and Victor Hugo!

 

Break me please...or...Don't break me please? A plea to be or not to be, that is the question.

Beautiful, colors/layers/textures/layers...stitch-in-time and flowing threads of life.

Two pages of beauty that question:"Where will the..." "What did..."?

And then turning the last leaf...and discovering the PAINTING! Sweet smell of oil paint...a piece of the whole:

It is the fragment of the whole! This is the "WHERE" and "THE"! It is broken...WHERE in THE world are the other fragments? We should get them all together one day.

Oh, I'm glad I wandered around and found that great blog! I think there might be one fragment waiting for me when I go back to Japan. Cheryl is sooo full of ideas-whose-time-have-come, how does she do??

Thanks for blogging Momkat :-) - FAB - I did that painting for the express purpose of sending as mail art - collage paintings - paint, paint, cut, post :-) - poor thing it was whimpering :-( - Greece in 2012 - sound FAB!!! - hello Les :-) X
