Thank you for pointing that out, Richard. "Mail Art" is even in the title of the review. How often do we see that in the NYTs?

The exhibition is at Richard L. Feigen & Co. That name came up recently in an IUOMA discussion.

Also there is a link in the final paragraph to the Performa mail art call. We had some confusion over that recently. I think some IUOMA folks are participating.

CrackerJack Kid shared a scan of his submission to this Performa event on FB. So it is apparently worthy of our living legends.

28.08.15 Dare De Villo S., ... thanks for posting the Ray Johnson gallery exhibition info. It is interesting to note that this particular exhibit seems to  place emphasis  on his mailings  rather than his gallery works.  ... & of course,  Johnson's mailing activities  & his larger collages always seem to overlap & influence the other. ...
