New York postcard from Cherly H. and a poor job in scanning by Dean

Actually Cheryl H. sent me a real postcard from New York.  Really sorry, but when I put it in the scanner, there were some  pieces leftover from the previous scan.  But you can see the main parts of the postcard even with the other images in the way.

Does anyone know who the lady on the right is?  She must be famous as she is in the Grévin wax museum in Paris.  (No they are not real, they are made out of wax.)

Thank you again Cheryl H. for the postcard of your holidays, and sorry again for my poor job in scanning.

Carina: owing to the current financial crisis in the Eurozone, the magnitude of the bail out problems for the Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Irish economies, what can only be a disastrous financial income for France after the Presidential electio, the rising cost of living/food/petrol/postage stamps (in the UK -- icreases of 35%+!), AND the fact that I am broke until the end of the month, I will NOT be raising my bid. He's all yours...unless some one out bids you.

Katerina: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!

Dean: I'll call you and/or you call me?

Will you be back from the UK by May 5th, Val? Take Dean's instructions seriously! He may show up on your doorstep...in a box? Naw, he doesn't even use envelopes! Actually,he should be mailing himself to Japan!

Marie is the winner!

going .... GONE!   I'm yours Val for one banana.  The trade off will take place on Saturday, 5 May.  Leave the banana in an unmarked brown envelope on your door step.  At sometime during the day, you will get a knock on your door.  When you open your door there will be a big brown cardboard box with holes. (the holes are to let air int and not for feeding.)  Carefully remove the red ribbon which will be around it.   You will be watched, so don't try to call the police. Ops, wrong story.

8 hours have passed, and the only bid is mine. WAKE UP out there, otherwise I'll end up with him (unless vanessa has a change of heart. Please, Vanessa...have a change of heart)

Pierre Tchernia? Is he still alive this one? :-O

I hope the B-day plans work out as planned, no jam!

DON'T DO IT VANESSA! DON'T HAVE HIM PUT DOWN!

We need him here in IUOMA.

Instead of having him put to sleep, and if you really want to get rid of him, you could always try a football-type transfer, and see.... who would bid for him, and how much they would offer?

Let me start the (d)E(an)-bay bidding: I offer One Banana.
