NBS, I have seen more of these now - the single symbol pieces. Maybe minimalist because they focus on a single symbol? It will be interesting to see how they evolve.

Oh BG, I'm very glad you like it and them. And thank you Dan and DVS, who's right to call this a departure. For 6 weeks I've been stroke-painting shapes on construction paper squares, still searching for my minuscule minimalist nature. This one by far involved the sparest touch and gave me hope.

I thought you would see it as such.  I did.  Fantastic.  And, as with all scans, much more to it in the flesh so you can probably imagine how beautiful it is in a corporeal sensate.

Fab work by NBS. I can certainly see the top scan as a single, expressive asemic symbol: beautiful & a bit of a departure for her.
