As a seller of vintage collectibles I spend a great deal of time searching for goods to sell. I recently came across this children's book. It is a great book, and I will certainly add it to my bookshelf.

DETAILS:

The Post Office Book: Mail and How It Moves, by Gail Gibbons. New York, NY: Trumpet Club, 1982.

SUMMARY:

"Do you ever mail a letter and wonder what happens to its after you drop it in the box? Read all about the post office and learn how letters are weighed, sorted, transported, culled, canceled, coded, binned, boxed, and sorted once again. Find out how people and machines work together to deliver the letters you send. Also includes brief historical facts about mail service in the United States."

If you search online, you will see that the book is still available for sale.
