November 27, 2015 - Moan Lisa has founded an Asemic Writers Workshop. I do not know how long it will last or what direction it will take, given Moan’s prolific and ever-changing projects and attention.

After yet another apparent attempt to shed the monolithic Moan Lisa identity, whoever or whatever lurks behind Moan Lisa has returned in full force as Moan Lisa, proving it is possible to become a prisoner of your own imagination. I no longer have to use the moniker, "The Artist Formerly Known as Moan Lisa." Neoist identities are relatively simple compared to the complexities of Moan Lisa. Anyway, roughly coinciding with the announcement of the asemic workshop, I received asemic pieces from Moan Lisa via snail mail, which I am thrilled to share today.
