MinXus Masterpiece arrives in Greece from Marie in Japan

The little royal minks/minXus on the envelope announce that the contents will be special: art from Marie Wintzer.

I always take care when opening the envelope from Marie, so as not to destroy the beauty of the whole image. The sides are sliced first and then cut across not at the top, but where the image begins, and then unfolded...

it is a beauty by itself...both sides now, both in and out :-)

Shanty town in Japan...close up...pure poetry:

Very thin and delicate paper, the envelope contains a boekie of "Soap Bubbles and Babble Soup"

made with transparent plastic prints overlaid on other layered images, black and white, dash of color...

Time to read it, visually, in eloquent silence....page by wondrous page:

getting close-up-and-personal...

..ending with the "publisher's trade mark":

This can be seen at MinXus Lynxus...but do you visit there often?

I believe Marie is coming to Australia this week to open a Minxus Outlet Gift Shop. Or was it a soap kitchen?

I woke up singing Pearly shells this morning...another MA spooky coincidence?

Beeeeeeautiful work Marie, thanks Katerina for all the pics.

Yes, the thing is, I'm on a secret mission this week. So someone will need to watch the house. I thought I would leave that to you, but that's going to be a bit hard from the Texas desert. I trust european genkis to be very reasonable people, they'll be fine.

That seems to be my fate. Empress, can you tend to European relations here while I deal with search crews in the Texas desert?

DVS you are actually sandwiched between me and Grigori. I have been in worse situations.

Aha....but you are above the "happy stick",

or is it that Marie is really supporting you? hmmmm...

Listen, I should be compensated for pain & suffering. My great mail-art debut in Greece & I'm stuck below Grigori Antonin. That's like - I don't know - having Marlon Brando as warm-up act before a dancing dog.

What an MinXus Event it was!

There was that rare sighting of a DVS mail art piece...

just one and only one in Greece :-)
