Thanks Petrolpetal. I'm going to post a one or two at a time on that blog. Come see more of Mona, please.
Wonderful blog,Mim!
Ah, yes! Katerina, you got one of those cards! I think there might be a couple more out and about but I'm glad that I kept the rest. I hadn't been able to scan while I was in Paris so I brought them home intending to scan and send out. Never happened until now. And why now? WELL, an Australian, whom we met in Paris, who lives in Hong Kong (had to say all that for the fun of it) is part of Micro Galleries,
and wanted me to reprise my installation from the fall. It was in Australia. I'd send her my New Jersey Turnpike Project cards which she installed. I wanted to use other images cause the turnpike is very abstract. I was thinking of using Tiny Town but then I thought about the forgotten Mona cards. I was happy that a search of my studio was successful. I found them! I sent a couple images to Kat and she was very positive about it. Thus, Mona in hand, I needed to scan all to send to Kat, and since I was doing that, I wanted to share them a few at a time. Thus the new blog. There are SO MANY altered Mona's in the world. A web search turns up lots, but what the heck, a few more Mona's never hurt,
Thanks for adding images for me to see from other IUOMA folks. I got a really fun one with "googly" eyes on it from Ptrzia TicTac years ago. It was delightful. Hmm, need to search the archives for that one.
Enjoy life, spread joy, choose witty and fun over all that nasty stuff that's out there. HUGS for everyone.
Sounds like it was a fun, interesting time altering Mona. :-) Can't wait to see the rest!
