Always a treat to receive a Tiny Town card from Mim,
and a little story, too:
"Laverne's warm smile and pleasant demeanor
made her a welcome visitor to Tiny Town"
There is quite a nice collection of
"Tiny Town" here in Greece:
One day this FAB collection should be sent
to the Maurice Utrillo Museum ...
Thanks so much, Mim,
and I would happily receive the other ...last 5?...
additions to the Tiny Town collection ! xxx

Thank you, mim! These Tiny Town creations are very special...and what great stories each has!
Laverne looks glamorous and happy. And what an interesting story from your childhood.
Now I wait to see if another three tiny Town cards arrive...we can make it an even dozen :-)
And that means they will fit on three folder sheets. Oh fun!

Oh dear, yes, an odd number is not good. A dozen IS good. And one does need to go to Sannois to the Utrillo-Valadon museum for sure. You have some of my favorite visits to Tiny Town, by the way. Oh, and I wanted to tell you about Laverne. Your Laverne is named after my childhood neighbor, Laverne Monty, who was married at one time to Anthony Montalbano. She shortened her name when she got divorced, I assume. She had a son and a daughter. The son was named Anthony, Jr. but was called Skippy. He was my close friend. He had cerebral palsy, so he walked with a kind of lurch, but I didn't care, as we had lots of fun playing together, making snow forts, running around the neighborhood, I don't remember the sister's name, possibly Gina, or Carmela or Teresa. I liked Laverne. I thought she was glamorous. I was between the ages of 9 and 11 at the time, so I'm not sure if she was glam or not, but I remember her fondly.
Back in the early months of 2011, Mim began sending "Tiny Town" to Greece :-)
And now that there are NINE in the Greek Collection
...I would looove at least another 3 of the final 5,
to make a nice "12" in the MIM folder!!
oh wow, fantastic collection!
