Two joyous pieces arrived this week.  The first Giuliana de Fiori called 'fashion' but I guess it will need to be washed eventually... the second is something which came for Island Mailart from a local island artist, Susan Landor Keegin.  Both make me want to go back in time to NYC to look for vintage Hawaiian shirts!

Rebecca and m.a. pals, thank you for this. Doing laundry is an unfavorite activity, but I LOVE to look at laundry in the wind. Sargent painted an absolute beauty. I think it's in Boston. Not many things can be completely ethereal and down-to-earth at the same time, but that is.
