the mail art Gods were shining on me yesterday, because I received art from Alicia AND Nadine. the envelope is so Nadine with her offbeat humor. Inside was a fantastic knit business card holder with cards a cquired during her daily travels I'm assuming. such an interesting journey to see all the lives that crossed paths in someone elses world. She says she wasn't being inventive, but of course, the idea is really inventive and I love it. I will definately be using this for my business cards and will be proud to have yet another piece of Nadine in my work life!

More brilliance from Nadine!!  I think her project exemplifies Trashpo in a perfect way. Think of the ga-zillians of business cards the first-world nations have produced...and the INSTANT TRASH that they become when released to the world. Do secretaries still use rolodexes?? That little knit card holder is like a little traveling altar for stuffing the trash of the day into!  GREAT!!!  Love the little dancing girl theme, too!!

I'm guessing there were some elephants in/with the dance moves?  My father used to play Baby Elephant Dance for me - its like honkey-tonk ye-olde piece - I loved it!  First time I've seen a KNITTED business card holder! :-) X
