3M Post-its Mail Art is the next coming trend, and I know an Art Gallery owner who would be interested in seeing this art work.   Kerri sent me these two "notes to self " written on post-its.  They were attached with 3M masking tape to a handpainted completely black postcard which was signed and dated.

At the time it was not clear to me why 3M masking tape was used to stick the Post-its on to the postcard. It was only later that I found out the reason.

This was a very moving piece and it gave me flashbacks to Black Monday.  The famous day on Monday October 19, 1987 when the stock markets around the world crashed.

Luckly it had been sent in a beautiful handpainted green envelope with two "Forever" stamps, and that made me smile again.   Thank you Kerri.   Now off to that Art Gallery ...

... sadly the art gallery noticed that Kerri used false 3M Post-its and said that they would be unable to sell it.  The Art gallery said that real 3M Post-its have a watermark on the back that says; " Post-it Note "  They said that they sometimes see these copies.  "Don't be fooled by copies which do not stick very good." ,  he warned me.  "But isn't that the point?  Post-its are not suppose to stick well", I replied

A Post-it call--YES! Nice detective work, Katerina. Kerri's notes always have a strong voice, with their struggles and reminders, very human and poignant. Thanks for posting these, Dean--and for your artsy gallery story, I love it.

Where is DK? or KDJ? or DVS? something they might start up over at Trashpo? Shopping lists and Post-it notes, etc...very trashy actually!
