Kerri Pullo: Sometimes I joke when things aren't funny plus more

Well nothing funny here.  This is a serious piece, and it's mine all mine!  The scan doesn't do it justice, but the frame is a glossy silver paint which brings out the 1.5 million (yes, I counted them) small ink dots.  Ad the string is the thing that brings it all together.  A delight indeed.

And it doesn't stop there, the back;…

Kerri Pullo : Note to self on 3M Post-its

3M Post-its Mail Art is the next coming trend, and I know an Art Gallery owner who would be interested in seeing this art work.   Kerri sent me these two "notes to self " written on post-its.  They were attached with 3M masking tape to a handpainted completely black postcard which was signed and dated.

At the time it was not clear to me why 3M masking tape was used to stick…

Quadruplet blog thanks to Victoria Barvenko, Kerri Pullo, Cernjul Viviana Rodriguez, and Genevieve Chausse

Victoria's stunning card begins this post. Thank you very much, Victoria: Kerri sent the following smokily nice piece (with my name and address on a lovely green back), and her special envelope is included in the photo because it is really striking (notice that my postman doesn't mind marking up mail art on a bad day!). Thanks very much, Kerri:…

Beautiful piece by Kerri: "Advice Dismissed" caught my eye when Kerri put it up with her photos, and I was delighted to find it as the first mail art she has sent me. Kerri, when she uses words, makes them melt into the rest of the art, just as the photo does. The organic, wounded red shape around the photo expresses well the ambiguity of her subject. Very nice work, Kerri, and I… Continue
