Katerina Nikoltsou: Forbidden but not forgotten or Barcodes that disappear

This is one that went missing for a while, but now it is back and has been added to my Katerina Nikoltsou National Library Collection.

Over time we have discovered that some barcodes disappear over time. Hence the question; "Are Barcodes are Human even if they disappear?" and which came first, products or barcodes?

Some food for thought this weekend.

Thank you Katerina, a barcode saved is a barcode earned

SKG...that's me! SaloniKaGreece, see?

Actually the name of me town is : Thessaloniki, (as Viz knows, been-there-done-that)

but aviation agencies must make short-cuts, I guess :-(

so, yes, these are luggage stickers, and as Dean has informed me...

they will "disappear" soon, as the ink is not permanent...not even ink probably!

Ah, the good old days of hand written shopping bills and cookies by the gram out-of-a-big-box

from the corner general store...ah, yes, I remember it well,

Not to be picky but, I think Vizma was right in hinting at the fact that these barcodes on Katerinas card are luggage tags. I would think these are a great help in making sure that luggage does not go missing and actually arrives at the right flight destination.

I agree, the Erni Bär Fan Club flag made by Dean is way better! And there are not many shops like that left.

I don't think this blog is suppose to make any "cents".  But I do like the flag, although Erni has a better one!

But at least we got an inside view of what life was like before barcodes from Grandpa Erni.  Inventory stock control must have been very difficult in those days.  Those poor people.
