Karin Greenwood's Flock of Birds from South Africa

Hallelujah for Karin Greenwood's flock of birds from South Africa!  How bright and cheery it was to find Karin's large black bird dominating the front of the envelope, next to a stamp with a South African bird stamp (what bird is that?)! As I learn about mail art, I find the way Karin has integrated her theme, "Fine feathers make fine birds," on all four surfaces of the envelope and post card inspirational. Well done Karin and so beautifully on paper that it looks like you have textured with purples and pinks (colors I adore) on gray. I admire how the pattern of the birds' feet are repeated in the flower imagery! Quite visually striking! Thank you very much!

Yes Karin's images are always a delight to receive, we have been trading mail art for over a year now so I have a wonderful collection of her whimsical creatures.
