The last piece of mail art I received was with a light knock on my door late Saturday - Amy Irwen's Mini Quilt (it measures 14" x 12" approx.) arrived in a poster roll. It seems Amy has been busy, what with another fishy mailing from early in May & a Fiber Art postcard with a textile surface titled "Gravity Pull".

One may ask, "What's with the fish?" The motif reminds me of our planet of dwindling resources. What's a fish to do? Amy's collage includes plastic bread clips, a bottle cap, plastic mesh & other minutiae of the oceans.

Brain Cell 945, dated April 30, 2016.

I cleaned-up a scan of a cut-up poem by C. Mehrl Bennett & have included it in a new zine project titled eM.T.Zine. Issue #1 is 12 pages b&w 8.5x5.5; see a color scan of the back & front cover. The printing is stalled for the moment but I hope to finish & send by Saturday. Several works in this post are included & I'll send copies out to all in today's post.

Jim Leftwich evidently sent identical photo prints out in batches of 5 or so. C. Mehrl Bennett suggested I collab - view results. I used clear tape on the paint-splattered newspaper I had on my art table to make the images. I'll be sending them out this Saturday as well.

Some collaborations here with John M. Bennett, including some of a "LOOK" series that began with a dream (see previous post).

Thanks as always to the senders. On track, expect returns next week.

Thanks for the info, Gu. Actually, I simply copy & paste my entire Construction Sea entry (jpegs & words) to my blog here & it works very well. See you in the mail!

Thanks Matthew, pretty much what I do, so ended up making a collage to fit everyone in.  ThomC has added info... After you've uploaded one or two or three pictures, save the blog as a DRAFT, then continue or come back to it, and you'll be able to upload as many pictures as you need/want to. Thank you too for the friend request Matthew.

Great collection! Can I ask what size pics you upload? I can only manage 4 or 5 before the site wont allow me to load anymore to a blog post.

What a catch from Amy.  Thanks for the blog.
