My first ever mail art from Jim Sant Amour.  These are his own photographs he took in New York in the MOMA garden.  Now that's a great way to get around the copy rights question.  Thank you Jim, great work, you have inspired me.

What a wonderful name; "Sant Amour".  I wonder how the Americans pronounce it?

Yes Marie it is very nice, but can you pronounces the last name "sanamour" without a French accent?

Glad you like it.

My family pronounces the last name "sanamour" - accent on the "san" and a soft or silent "T".  I've heard many different pronounciations - most end with "our" as in "flower".  And a thousand different spellings.

My grandfather was born in Quebec, with the last name St. Amour...but it was "americanized" to SantAmour when he became a US citizen...I guess the typewriters in 1914 didn't have the letter "i"...
