Aha, this is a second card from The Traveler In Seine, t'aint no "lemon", either,

Actually, it is full of ORANGES!

Did he travel first to Germany, and then to Austria?

or Austria first, then Germany?

Fun stamp, for sure!

He is a-travelin'...and making and sending Mail Art. Yay!

Thanks for both cards, In Seine xxx

Austria could run a whole series of postage stamps with their Klimt collection,

that would make for great "mail art" :-)

The walkin' post boxes, with boots are so much fun!

OK so the Austrians ran out of things to put on stamps.  Of course this photo of Franz tells it all.

The postmen really do wear boots like this in Bregenz.

Great blog, thank you.

And this card was posted from Bregenz..."Austria", but just barely actually?

It looks like a lovely port town on the "Bodensee" or Lake constance :-)

"Lake Constance is the only area in Europe where no borders exist,

because there is no legally binding agreement as to where the borders lie

between Switzerland, Germany and Austria..."
