This beauty arrived in an envelope painted with richly joyful colors from Amy Morton, a recently new member of IUOMA. I was and am delighted by Amy's work, and quote some thoughts from her enclosed note:

"I dabble in many mediums but my main passion is historic photographic printing processes." "This is 'Ice Melt' and it is printed in a cyanotype process." Amy says that "it is abstract and still very reflective." I agree! The scanner did not pick up the blueness in the cyanotype process; above it looks like shades of dark gray, but in reality the piece has a softly strong (oxymoron, I know) blue hint. Thank you again very much, Amy --
