I benefitted from Carina's trip to Paris!

Such a fun piece from Carina!  My daughter was back from Uni to have a Thanksgiving meal with us (she's half American) and as I just told Katerina in the arty slides domain, she was a big Disney fan in her youth.  She is also a lover of everything French and of Paris in particular.  She snatched your card out of my hand as I retrieved it from the post box and asked if she could take it back to Edinburgh for her bare uni wall.  Of course not, silly! Thank you Carina, it's great and I like it very much.

'Love Felix the Cat and the graffiti...ni9ce cards from Carina from Paris !

Rebecca...I'll send a few somethings to your daughter for her university bare walls, too.

When I was 14 in Chicago, I dreamed of going to Disney Studios and working as an animation artist...even sent them my "bio" (of a 14 year old, ha!) Never got a job there, and it took me 30 years to finally visit Disney Land in California with son, who was 10. I was in HEAVEN in Disney Land...'still love the "Magic Kingdom" and have never been to EuroDisney or Orlando Disney...

but then again "a dream is a wish your heart makes..."  :-)

Rebecca, I'll try.  I wonder what 26 years olds like ...

Carina, OH dear, I go by there all the time.  You were about 2km from my place.  It's a very nice quarter, so they have graffiti there?  Good thing you took a photo of it, it will be gone tomorrow.  They try to clean these things up very quickly.  Even the nice ones which I wish would stay.

Dean :) the graffiti is from the road Rue du Parc Royal, I remember very well, because I was a little lost and have to ask somebody the way to the Swedish Institute. And the somebody was a nice frenchman who turned out to speak Swedish, he told me that he studies Scandinavian languages! Unbelievable! That's my Paris :)

Carina, would you? (And Dean?  - she says presumptuously.) I know she'd love one or two. English, French and Art History essays on the go in the shadow of Holyrood.

Well well well, many questions here, like which half is American, and does she speak Scottish yet?

Funny enough we are going to Disneyland tomorrow and just maybe I'll find some cool trashpo.  But they do keep those streets super clean.

Carina, I'm not sure what part of Paris you were hanging around.  This doesn't look like any quarter I know.  I can't even see that tower thingy in your card !!!!  ^¨)(   <-- I just can't figure out how to make those smiling faces like everyone else.

oh, that was a nice feedback, Rebecca! Should I do one for your daughter??
