Grrrrrrrrrr! How can I be expected to send Mail Art to people who DON'T....

Not being psychic, I can't.

Grrrrrrrr! It's a drag having to ask people for their snail mail address. And/or dig around in their web-site to (try and) find it.

If y'all want some Mail Art then surely you're going to give your postal address?

My New Return-Mail-Art Policy from now on is that if you don't provide me with your address on what you send me and/or in your Profile Information, then I won't be sending anything back to you -- not because I don't want to, but because you make it just that little bit more difficult for me to do so, and thus..... Grrrrrr!

Erni: I know the book, and the chart at the end "A simple chart on the course of mail from here to eternity" is brilliant. As is the 'status reports' on delivery or not that Herr Drescher provides.

If someone doesn't want his/her address on a website, that is perfectly o.k. But leave it on an envelope when you send out mail....... Otherwise you can't expect an answer at all (which could be the case and that is o.k. too)

If they don't add a return address ...or if they come to IUOMA and do not post a mailing address...then, are they "MAIL" artists, wanting an exchange? Which is what mail art is all about. IUOMA is a very safe site, thanks to Ruud, we should not have to be afraid to post an address...or a postal box then, if we don't want anyone to know where we live so they will not stalk-us-rob-us..come with hatchets-in-the-night! :-0

We are a social community of artists, yes? No scammers, no hackers here...hopefully said.
