Greatest Ever Foodpo MA from Angie

Yes, today this very squishy FoodPo came from Angie. I can't even believe they let her mail this, but she tells the story of searching for trash for trashpo and continually seeing this pristine piece of American Cheese IN the wrapper no less on the sidewalk/street. It called to her many times as she walked past it. She finally listened to her inner voice and trashpo instincts kicked in.  She knew that she was supposed to send it to me. So she bravely picked it up. My kids love it because of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and 'cheese touch'.  It even looks like it has road kill style tracks through it. I am wondering if this kind of overprocessed cheese even resembles food enough to mold. we will see. You can't see from the picture, but grease spots seeped through the card and made very artistic patterns that just added to the overall squishiness and trashiness. Thanks Angie, I'm still laughing about this

Oh and interactive stuff like grilling the cheese, that probably works.

A mail-art time capsule is an interesting idea. Is the cheese individually wrapped in plastic? Because the plastic would be part of it. I've been thinking about lunchmeat biopoetry, but the dairy products direction is good too.

I think the cheese should be put in some kind of time capsule. mail art time capsule would be cool wouldn't it? I was actually going to make Ramone a grilled cheese with it, but biopoetry is sacred like so many other 'po's

I'm thinking maybe it's social commentary on preservatives. Also - biopoetry is organic so you experience it by watching the changes it goes through. Eventually the thing will deconstruct into dust. Angie made a big breakthrough here.

I've left it out all this time and it remains unchanged

candidate for biopoetry, if it weren't so cheesy.

Even cooler Angie I was afraid to take it out of the plastic, but just did. So funny that you stapled cheese. The side reads No cheese was harmed in the making of this art. Not really sure about that now:)and u really did stamp on the cheese itself and not just the wrapper !I actually thought the black was some kind of mold at first
