Goodies from Cathérine Petré, JF Chapelle, Torma Cauli

All these pieces deserve a blog of their own, but unfortunately time is exerting pressure on these early autumn days. So here are three fantastic pieces for you today.

My first envelope from the very talented Cathérine. Perfectly matching the card. I admire her work greatly, she has a unique style, very pure, very delicate, yet their is a certain strength that strikes you when looking at each of her drawings. Amazing talent. Thank you Cathérine, I just love this!

Anything from JF Chapelle is always a treat, and this Fluxus masterpiece is no exception. I have always liked the Chance/Choice concept. An Alsace stamp on this postcard to me, Chance or Choice? I will never know. Merci JF, comme d'hab, tu es le maître incontesté.

And my very first luck from Torma and Hungary, a trip into the stars. Or this is what my mind is picturing when seeing the card. With pieces of hungarian shopping lists and scribbled phone numbers (I should try that number) floating about, out of any flow of gravity. Thank you Torma! And to all three of you!

Oh, OK, I like it too. And it's stapled! I remember another one saying tie my shoe.

Here is what JF Chapelle sent me in response to Barbie. I REALLY like this one:

He sent me a very nice shoelace. Not sure what to send this time, but you have me thinking about JF. Oh, and the chance/choice idea is great too - hadn't seen that one.

Hi DVS. You know what they say, what goes around comes around. I think it is VERY fair I got that piece from JFC ;-)) I wonder what he sent you back after Barbie's arm? I can't remember. Maybe you can send him your attitude girl glasses and see what happens?

Marie, these "compilation" blogs work very well, juxtaposing the work of several artists. And here, you did get the best mail-art! Catherine, JF, and Torma all together, really a treat. I LOVE JF's "No, I prefer Fluxus" piece. I've seen it before. Not fair you own one! Maybe if I send him something. Last time I sent him Barbie's arm, remember? I must find something better. Really great blog, CB.
