Nadine and I are both members of the Fiber Artists & Mail Art Group, and I had sent her one of the knit card series on which I've been working. At first she couldn't find me or my page on this site to discover who it was that had sent the piece. Regardless, she sent some mail art in response, but inventively, her artwork was informed by this perplexity:

I am happy to report that Nadine has since found me, and I look forward to the pleasure of exchanging with such a talented artist. We have even discovered some commonalities already! Nadine lived in the greater Seattle area at one time, and I now call it home.  The rest of Nadine's envelope package was inspiring... And yep, "Mail Art is...DIY; Free; Generous; Gifted; Truth(!); Simple; Complex; Intricate; [sometimes] Sad; and [happily] Funny.  It's also fantastic when it's as beautiful as Nadine's...

Thank you, Nadine!
