Ah, Bom Trown, 'tis possible that troubles started some years back with Soldman and Gachs :-)

They helped one of the ol' Greek Governments "cook-the-books" and literally LIED to the European  Union and to the Greek people. Where have all the billions gone/ 9 billion to Blankfein, now the CEO.

The succeeding Greek governments have done nothing but dig the black hole of debts even deeper...

and so...how much will the black hole suck in...?(not only Greece, watch and wait?)

Yes, I am reading the news. Overall, the global economy seems to be slowing down because of too much debt, so Greece is not alone. I am interested to know your opinion on events there. Was it the government? Was it the big banks? The US government is $18 trillion dollars in debt, and that can't be paid back any time soon (ever?). On top of that there are trillions in US citizens personal debts. There is corporate debt. I don't know...seems like the entire system of "money" is being called into question. What might replace the current system?
