Florence was a cool woman, from Dean.

#560 from Dean. This is a guilt posting, not that i don't like it, i do, very much, and it would have been posted a couple of weeks ago, but didn't expect you to be back home so soon and thought for sure you would be traveling to iowa, who woudn't want to visit iowa, and upon your arrival we would talk about this and i would secretly be keeping notes because...as Bukowski said, " ".  Curious, who is the gal on the upper right? Apologies for misspellings.

Oh Alicia, there will always be toast for you in Old Orchard Beach. Sometimes there's even something to put on it.

Beautiful West Quoddy Head. Dean, you could swim home from there. We camped at Cobscook Bay nearby. You don't return to favorite places? We're great cooks and could make you toast served with a special bottle of wine.

Yes Florence was cool but you can read her story on the ipad for free.  Free up some shelf space, that's what it is all about.   The other lady might be Mata Hari.  The same in one way but very different none the less.

Thank you for the fun blog.  Sad to say that I have already been to Iowa & Maine*.  The rest of the world now awaits me.

* Favorite places; Iowa lake Okoboji  & West Quoddy Head, Maine

Poor Alicia, Iowa is a destination for travelers from non-u.s. countries almost as often as is Maine. But at least you're on the way somewhere, and it could happen one day.
