"First Day of Issue" special from Bifidus Jones

The Eugene O'Neill stamp+envelope from October 16,1967! What a beaut Bifidus sent me, and notice that he included quite an education. I learned numerous things about O'Neill that I'd been sorely ignorant of until now:

To point to just a couple of the many fascinating facts here, isn't it cool that O'Neill's first play (1916) was staged in an abandoned fish house and that his father, an actor, paid O'Neill $1.00/day while he "learned his craft"? If his father had worked for IBM, that probably wouldn't have happened. The irony.

I was thrilled to receive this, Bifidus. Thank you again, very much!
