thank you Daniel--what is your mailing address?
Lovely Yours¡
Lol Vizma-thank you! No, I'm not a redhead. I used to be a blonde, but after I had kids it turned light brown. Are you?
DK lights up our lives!
Are you a Redhead DK?
Now that you mention it... might be good to do some more of those experiements.
Richard Canard did send a car-tire-flattened beer or soda can to Geof Huth - Geof's in the asemic group but more to the point a really well respected visual poet - Richard called it "Haptic Asemic Poem" or something like that and Geof blogged it. The tire treads made these cool asemic characters.
Two years ago even I'm not sure if a lot of people just naturally accepted a flattened beer can was a poem. How far we have come,,, and so much we owe to DK.
Maybe he ran over it with his car like you did when you sent me the very first tire tread road kill art. Back then, I think you thought it offended me. Now you know differently
Oh, it would be killing two stones with one bird.
DK, in my lexicon artifically created trash - contrived trash - or something you unneceassarily turn into trash to make something that looks like Trashpo is called Representational Trashpo.
Anyone can call it what they like, of course, and Artificial Trashpo describes it too. But people have asked what I meant with Representational Trashpo and that is what I meant exactly.
If Richard drank a bottle of vodka with the intent of making Trashpo, that would be Representational Trashpo. If he drank it & realized he could use the bottle, then it would be genuine. If he found the bottle - definitely Trashpo. I guess if he drank it because he wanted to & then used it for Trashpo... I'm not sure.
he claims to have 'found' the bottle. hmmm what was the term for artificially created trash? performance art? Faux trashpo? Either way it is fantastic that he was able to mail this as is. I mailed an empty juice pouch once but never heard if it made it through. also forgot who I sent it to
