Jayne Lyons reminds me of the first Cow Parade, 1999, in Chicago :-) This mini cow from 2001 Chicago visit...

And in 2006 when there was a Cow Parade in Athens,

Was there one in your area? And now there are even "Bear" and other animals on parade.

They are fiber glass sculptures that are usually designed and painted by local artists,

then the are auctioned off and the proceeds go to charities...great to see them around a city.
