I got my mail art homework in on time this week! I like the course, but I'm not that big on collage, so it's not quite as exciting as I had hoped it would be. But, I'm learning things, so I'm happy. The course I'm taking is Introduction to Art: Concepts & Techniques

This week's lesson happened to be on mail art. :-)

I wish she would get more into drawing or painting, rather than using collage as her main medium.

I totally agree about mail art being a way of life. Art itself is a way of life for me. The coursera course is the only art course they are offering this season. I take what I can get. ;-)

The techniques of all those forms is very interesting. In Mail-Art you can combine almost everything. Paint on collages, collages with paintngs, draw on collages of paintings, send out painted collages, draw on incoming mail-art.  You are free to follow your path here. Mail-Art is not a course, it is a way of life. You get impulses of the network, react, and in return you send impulses into the network.
