Catching up with mail - Katerina Nikoltsou, Helen Amyes, Theo Nelson

I'm just back from holiday and swimming in mail art, which is very nice of course, but I don't know how to blog all this without going crazy. So, I think there will be a few grouped blogs for a while (and I will also reply to your mail as soon as possible, please bear with the slow CB).

First a piece of Summer Sandpo (Swiss cheese?) from Katerina. I've had a few Sandpo cards from Katerina and I can tell she used the very hardest type of sandpaper, the super hyper haptic one. I'm an expert now :-))
I really like the back of the card with greek text and the beautiful tape transfer. Thank you Katerina! (I'll start up your ether asap).

This is an envelope I got several weeks ago from Helen. I had seen a similar one on Cheryl's blog and thought it was great, and yes, you know the story, I found it in my mailbox soon after. The heavy duty Scourer Sponges wrapping envelope is great, as well as Helen's variations on C. Thank you Helen, thinking of you down in Australia!

And one more for today, after Prairie Fingers, Theo is sending me a new member of the family with these Prairie Waves. The back of the card strongly smells of summer and golden fields and endless walks. Probably coming from his poem?
Thank you Theo, it's always a pleasure to find your card in my mailbox!

Holy Moses! If Helen had parted the Red C, it would be asemic writing. Your photos are excellent CB. Stop flogging yourself with your shoes.

You're right Katerina. My scanner got acquainted with Sandpo the hard way and it now refuses to scan anything remotely Po!

Thanks Cheryl. I think I might have shamelessly stolen the idea from Angie. Or was it Thom Courcelle?

Oh hello Bifidus! DVS, the pictures are not good, let's face it. I've been struggling for weeks because of the lack of light. Frustrated...

Red Sea, that's good.

Outstanding pics, Marie. I think in the manifesto you are the official photographer of Sandpo. How visionary. Kat's work is great. She's using holes. Wow, and Helen with the sponges - that work is gorgeous - the red C (Red Sea?). The compilation blogs work well.
