On Bonking Boris... i) he was a tennis player, not an artist, and that's why his cultural contribution was non-existent, ii) sportsmen like him are bores, usually because, from the age of 4 onwards, they have done nothing but hit a tennis ball for 6 hours a day (the '10,000 Hour' theory) and travelled to, played in, recovered from, etc tennis matches; iii) they don't join IUOMA and so can't benefit from the richness of these exchanges.
