Always a joy to see the postman at noontime :-)

Many very interesting mail art goodies,

there was a postal paper to pick up a package, it was a book from David Stone,

latest edition of poetry: Citadel,Volume 4, and I have several of his Blackbird publications, too.

Here are postcards from Meral in Istanbul, Turkey, and SHMUEL in the US.

SHMUEL has a clever note :-)

Mail art postcard from Claudio Romeo in Italy:

Ciao, thanks to all who sent,

I shall be blogging more soon :-)

Yes, William, in the past, we had a low postage rate for even sending books and "no value" packets, but now the HELLenic Post charges us regular international rates like a letter or weight over 20 grams. "Printed Matter" I label on fat envelopes to the USA, and never, ever, label "mail ART" on the envelopes anymore as the customs officials will think we are sending valuable masterpieces! ha!

so much great work! so sad about being charged for packages. i've heard a story recently about someone sending something(i forget to which country) and had declared it of no monetary value, customs opened it and decided it had value and charged fees for it. so crazy. :(

But i must note:

if you are NOT in the European Union countries, (that means the UK, too, so sad :-( )

then please do NOT send packages to Greece, as we are being charged customs

even for books and printed matter :-(

No registered mail, no packages anymore, too expensive, sorry!
