Oh no, you probably had an egg on your face while I was sleeping and I missed it. Too bad... :-))))
It's an asemic mail art I received from Rebecca Resinski a while back. Another pic was up with m.a. from Laurence Gillot yesterday, but in a little photo it looked too blank, like there was egg on my face, haha, and you couldn't really see the piece, which is wonderfully delicate. So I had to pick a bolder piece and grabbed Rebecca's, which I love too.
Svenja, I'm relieved!! :-) New profile pic for Nancy as well. What is it you are holding?
That's music to my ears, Kat., especially because that's how it was experienced, too, while doing it--like an exhibition, which I didn't foresee. This will probably change how my blogs are done--will likely look for groupings to collage onto the scanner. It means there will be fewer blog posts, and fewer words, but a different, hopefully good way to see the mail art.
Svenja: that's good ~
Thank you Nancy and Katerina, your words make me happy!
What a beautiful collection of art from Svenja! Fantastic! You are doing a wonderful job of blogging, Nancy. We know how difficult it is to blog, and your "collections" are a feast to see. It is as if we walked into an exhibition and saw the collections of art by our fellow mail artists. Many thanks for giving us this opportunity!
Aha, there's been a change in your profile pic, Svenja--excellent choice. I laughed my head off after turning it over and finding "I thought of you when I saw this accident"! Still makes me laugh. Your envelopes always have to be shown--we see many great artistic envelopes, but yours seem literally part of the art. I love them.
No, it's winking and blinking, Marie ;-)
Treasures!! And the envelopes are always so well done too. Svenja, your profile picture seems to cry a lot?
Those bread shoes are great, Svenja--my jaw dropped when I saw them.
