BLog Jam: mail art delivery 12 January 2021

Finally, the postman appeared at noontime today,

bringing some 15-15 mail art pieces. Some postmarked 5-6 weeks ago!

So good to see mail arriving from the States,

and especially a group from New Mexico...all together.

Some from Europe as well!

Oh, look what the Royal Post did to that beautifully poetic postage stamp :-( 

I will be blogging individually, slowly but surely :-)

Just at the holidays, with our Greek lockdown did I discover that I can now buy online from Hellas Post and they are self-stick. yay! They deliver to my door, no extra charge, although I did have to wait two weeks this last delivery, sigh.

New issue is honoring our health workers:

Sabrina, yes, I buy them online. Building crowd? We probably say a 'growing crowd'.

Hm, I guess that's nothing you say in English... "bulding crowds"...? Whatever, I guess you know what I mean. :D

Mel Anie, the stamps you put on my letter were also nice, I had no idea they aren't easily available! I don't buy stamp in the post office as I don't like the crowds that often build in the postoffice. I buy them online. Does British post doesn't offer this service?

Good to see it is all finally getting through, Katerina. Royal Mail stamps make me laugh. They produce some lovely stamps but they make it very difficult to buy them - they say it costs too much for them to deliver them to the post offices! Where I live, you can only buy the queen in post offices. Truth is beauty?
