Big D from David Stafford and Mail Art Rejected by Germany

Received this from David Stafford "painting the big D"

And this mail art I sent to Horst Baur was returned literally MONTHS later due to insufficient address. I was expecting one of their uber thoughtful letters/envelopes.

I will have to see where I went wrong on the address.

Thanks for the mural David, I can only hope it's in full view from the Taco Cabana

"Well isn't that special!" It's so extra when David gets personal. Great envelope you got back from Germany, D.  I once sent Erni a package in March that came back in July. I thought, geez, if Erni's crazy envelopes can get out of the country, the least they can do is let milder ones in without a fuss.

Thanks Angie-it's always weird when your art comes back to you. Today I am sending a piece to David called The Evolutionary Chart of David Stafford and his Various/Numerous Modes of Transportation. David's art always implies some kind of movement. His big D makes me think of Sesame Street
