Art in Book Form: Sally Wassink; Katerina Nikoltsou, & Cheryl Penn

Several have been received of late.  The most miniature example of the collection was a brilliant one from Sally Wassink (California, USA) and arrived in its own minature envelope...

Katerina Nikoltsou (Greece) was kind to send me a version of her beautiful El Greco in Blue boekie:

And Cheryl Penn (South Africa) send a kind of catalogue raisonné of her Mona Lisa project:

As an added bonus, Cheryl sent one of her cut-up large scale masterpieces, with some accompanying poetry!...

Luscious goodies.  Thank you Sally, Katerina, and Cheryl!

Hello again Thom --I'm so glad you posted these.  It's really rather unbelievable!  All these references to onions that went unnoticed by me.  I always find the accidental aspects of art the most delicious.  (much like onions!)   The snippets of text were from a book that I absolutely adored "Bel Canto" by Ann Patchett.  And although it seems like it was about onions, it wasn't!  xox --Sally

Ha, HA!!  I thought you did that on purpose, Sally!  Look in picture #9 (two more down...)  There is also a reference to onions!!!

"May I inquire as to the state of the onions?"

That was what made it so fun was to find the "ONIONS" in your "No Onions" propoganda!

I'm a little late to this party, but thanks for blog post, Thom.  I had to laugh at Angie's comment about the onion, and then when looking at your pictures, I saw this text (on the picture #7):

"every night

the onions

threaten"

HA!  a little accidental dada poetry right there.  (and unbeknownst to me!  which makes your blog post all the more delicious.  Love the other books too!
