Diane I guess the Finnish stereotypes are true in a way, except for the polar bears - we have luckily not polar bears  :)
People in Finland can be rude, but we mean no harm, we're just bad at courtesy phrases - I think our cold winters is evident in the Finnish human psyche and expression.

I was thinking to myself, "I wonder if a lot of people from Finland are as witty as Carina?" This led me to thinking about stereotypes, and I've never heard of any about Finnish people. So I looked it up:

Some examples of stereotypes of Finland are:

• It's very cold
• There are polar bears
• People are shy and rude
• Every Finnish people dance tango
• Finnish people love to sing Karaoke
• They drink much, especially Vodka
• Physical appearance: Blond hair and blue eyes
