I wonder if the members of this Union know or care about politics?

How many of you care about what is happening in the world as a result of United States hegemony?

Will it matter if Europe becomes a nuclear toilet?

Will the Eurozone exist if Greece pulls out?

Are you buying stocks in potable water because it will be the next big thing?

What do you think about Israel controlling the United States?

Do Palestinians have the right to exist?

Should Presidents be held accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity?

Is the new Chinese bank going to give the American dollar the boot?

Do you believe Putin or mainstream media lies?

I have taught political science at Universities for 40 yearsand worked in, and around , and for, and against local, regional, national and international governments for just as long. I can mix politics and art -- I frequently do. But I am here as a mail artist not as a commentator or pontificator on the world at large. If I wanted to do the latter (which I don't), I would do so elsewhere.

Of course mail artists are political beings. Everyone is affected by politics whether they acknowledge it or not. It does seem that many folks at IUOMA choose not to mix art and politics. Perhaps people don't want to offend. We are overwhelmingly a very polite bunch. I always welcome political mail and discussion. I believe it can be done respectfully. I am sorry to hear you can't receive mail art.
