i always thought this was a bigger problem with mail within the US, but i'm not sure why i think that. maybe because that was the first incidence of mail being nixied i'd heard about?

Disheartening+shocking. We know this has become a USPS issue with some international mailings, certainly bad enough, but now within the US?!? You have to wonder if the USPS is so under-staffed and under-machined in recent years (ahem) that workers might be slapping these stickers on because they ran out of time to sort that day. Tonight I'll again write my congresspeople, and suggest others do the same. They need to hear from us.

NIXIE,NIXIE,NIXIE! How frustrating...and loss of postage money, too :-(

I had several returned from USPS, maybe because of too many rubber stampings,

and the "machines" didn't read the address , how sad!

is it possible some postal centers need the zipcode on its own line?   if this is true, it is not a universally known fact!  just a guess, of course!   i put the zip on its own line, only because my handwriting is spread out.
