Ancient Stories Written in Asemic from Catherine Petre

I have no idea how Catherine made this but it is amazing to touch. It is about 5X7"The face is stamped onto tissue paper and the whole thing is stitched on handmade paper in the middle. The story is written in asemic thankfully because it is so small I could not possibly read it in English. I think the back that reads ancient text is drawn with chalk and the stitching is not only asemic but braille-like. I was so glad I double checked the envelope because I almost completely missed the beligium stamp collection she sent me. I love these! Thank you Catherine. I just love this!!!!

Must say it once more, Catherine: I really love your style of asemic writing and hope you continue.

Absolutely beautiful, Catherine -- so delicate looking and strong at the same time, and LOVE the asemic style. I appreciate the description of how this is made, Diane, because I could not have guessed. At least not guessed right!
