An Avalanche of Art Stuff from Non-Local Variable (Including Survey Results!)

Not one, but TWO envelopes of goodies arriving from Oregon... one of which included survey results from the Mail Art Continuum Project—something I had been anxious to hear about...

One envelope contained tons of ephemera that I hope to put to good use in future projects. And the other contained detailed survey analysis and reporting from the Crevicist Institute concerning the self-proclaimed historical art genres of IUOMA mailartists on a highly methodical-mathematical-scientific quadrant scale assessment form that was sent to almost 40 members (!)

As one might guess, survey results were somewhat tainted by the very fluXus-absurdist artwork of "certain" respondents, who couldn't resist not following the survey directions...and in some cases made their own "performance" survey rules, or used the survey itself to create dada-ist works of collage art.

Ah well... at least the survey revealed that ART IS ALIVE AND WELL, NO MATTER WHAT GENRE I.O.U.M.A. ARTISTS CLAIM TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH!  VIVA L'ART!! (And thanks for all the hard work of putting the survey and survey results together, Non-Local! Fascinating stuff!)
