Amy Irwen Disguised this Trashpo Boekie as a Treasure Scrapbook

Long overdue for praise is a Trashpo Boekie of magnificent standards from Amy Irwen... Changing the clocks for Daylight Savings Time made me realize I'd better do some postings--bad form to be so tardy with one's thank yous that the seasons change first--heaven forbid!!

Amy's piece doesn't need much commentary; it's elegance in pictures will suffice pretty decently...  But for some background, her minature boekie is a "fatty"--so crammed with scrap-making material and goodies, and so thick and hefty that it needed a rubber-ized band to contain it all!  It is a compendium of several other mail artists' scraps and contributions.  I think many of you will recognize certain pages as "inspired" by common friends.

Also it came in the most unusual and unique of packages--a clear plastic egg carton lined with brightly colored tissue paper.  To have found such a colorful package in my mailbox was like finding something that magic elves had left hidden in a secret tree nook or something.

And as if the art boekie wasn't enough to sate my appetite, some additional gifts were included in the package--minature yarn balls!  Well, I didn't have to think too hard about what to do with those.  Yarn is fer knittin' !!  And it provided the perfect inspiration for a return thank you to arrive in Amy's mailbox some time in the near future...

And now for your viewing pleasure, the documented artwork...

Thank you kindly, Amy, for such a special package!

Amy, I'm glad you posted it, 'cause I couldn't get my camera to focus on the teeny tiny printing!! Thanks again for the wonderful surprise!

Thank you Angie and Nancy, so glad you enjoyed!  Thom, it is always a great pleasure to send you "STUFF"....

I'm going to post the "dedication" on the back; since I had a great time putting that together (not to toot my own horn or anything! :-)
