This lovely card arrived in Greece yesterday from Japan.

Debbie does etegami and this card is an exception,

as it has a historical note about the indigenous people of her island, Hokkaido.

The oral tradition of the Ainu is being written down in Japanese,

and deb will be translating it into English. Fascinating!
