A love for Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water home & estate

Claire,

Your mailart blends so many ideas/details/influences into one piece. You have an excellent ability to connect with many levels of one's being.

The experience begins with an olfactory sensation of warmth & congeniality, details on the envelope bring England, France, Germany & USA to mind, next Japanese washi tape & a handwritten note get ones attention, a loquacious letter tells a heartfelt story of Claire's love of Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water home & estate, a signed & numbered "Notare No 4" by Claire completes the experience. Gratitude, kindness & creativity shine brightly throughout.

Thank you for this wonderful mailart.

What an absolutely charming letter! I almost feel like a voyeur reading it, but priveliged indeed.

Falling water is a dream of mine. My friend brought me a paper bag from there which I cherish!

ah dear Stephen, thank you so much for this nice blog - it is very sweet. I must say, your writing is quite heartfelt and eloquent indeed!

The scribbled, black circles on the stamps are interesting - did you do that, or did the USPO? It looks like the creative "vandalism" of a kid - lol!

btw, although I signed the print horizontally, I should have marked the "Top" orientation in the other direction but forgot ...It is meant to be viewed Vertically (in the same direction in which the envelope is addressed).

Thanks again mon ami! ^_^
